An e-bike shop gets ready for the EU battery passport

From 18 February 2027, every LMT battery placed on the market needs a passport. Here is the list, worked through.

A shop sells e-bikes under its own brand, with batteries it imports. That makes it the one placing those LMT batteries on the EU market, so the battery passport of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 is its obligation. The battery template in QRiva follows Annex XIII point by point.

The code on the battery

A QR code or a GS1 Data Matrix carrying the battery's Digital Link, as Art. 77(3) and Annex VI Part C ask.
